Service Agreement & Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Services
Clear Creek Cleaning provides residential and commercial cleaning services including, but not limited to:
Standard cleaning
Deep cleaning
Move-in / move-out cleaning
Post-construction cleaning
Short-term/Vacation rental turnover services
Customized cleaning services
The specific services to be performed will be outlined in the client's estimate, invoice, or booking confirmation. Any services requested outside the agreed scope may result in additional charges.
Clear Creek Cleaning reserves the right to adjust pricing if the condition of the property requires additional time, labor, or specialized cleaning beyond what was originally quoted.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate information when booking services
Provide safe and unobstructed access to the property
Secure pets during the cleaning appointment
Remove excessive clutter or hazardous materials from areas to be cleaned
Clear Creek Cleaning reserves the right to limit or refuse services if conditions are unsafe or prevent proper cleaning.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods may include credit card, debit card, ACH transfer, check, or other approved payment methods.
Invoices not paid within 15 days will incur a late fee of $15 or 1.5% of the outstanding balance per month, whichever is greater.
Accounts that remain unpaid after 30 days may result in suspension of services until the balance is paid in full.
The client agrees to pay any reasonable costs associated with collection of unpaid balances, including attorney fees, court costs, and collection agency fees as allowed under Idaho law.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled cleaning appointment.
Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service price.
If our cleaning team arrives and cannot access the property or perform the service due to circumstances outside our control (including but not limited to locked doors, pets not secured, or unsafe conditions), the appointment may be treated as a lockout and the cancellation fee may apply.
If a client cancels or reschedules two consecutive scheduled cleanings, Clear Creek Cleaning reserves the right to charge one and one-half (1.5) times the regular cleaning rate for the next scheduled service. This fee reflects the additional time and labor typically required when regular maintenance cleanings are skipped.
5. Property Access
Clients are responsible for ensuring that Clear Creek Cleaning has access to the property at the scheduled time.
If access cannot be gained due to:
Locked doors
Incorrect entry instructions
Alarm systems
Unsecured pets
Other access issues
The appointment may be considered a lockout, and the cancellation policy may apply.
6. Unsanitary or Hazardous Conditions
Clear Creek Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if the property contains hazardous conditions, including but not limited to:
Hoarding environments
Pest infestations
Mold infestations
Biohazards or bodily fluids
Illegal substances
Unsafe structural conditions
If the cleaning team arrives and determines the property cannot be safely cleaned, the client may still be responsible for the cancellation fee.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
Customer satisfaction is important to us.
If you are dissatisfied with any portion of the cleaning service, you must notify Clear Creek Cleaning within 24 hours of service completion so we may return to address the issue.
Clear Creek Cleaning reserves the right to correct any issue before issuing refunds. Refunds are issued at the company’s discretion.
8. Damage & Liability
Clear Creek Cleaning takes reasonable care while working in your home or business. However, clients agree that the company is not responsible for:
Pre-existing damage
Normal wear and tear
Improperly installed fixtures or items
Fragile or valuable items not disclosed prior to cleaning
Any damage caused as a direct result of our service must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. If a claim is approved, Clear Creek Cleaning may, at its discretion:
Repair the item
Arrange for professional repair
Replace the item
Submit the claim to our insurance provider, when applicable
Clear Creek Cleaning’s liability for any approved claim shall not exceed the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of the affected item, and the company reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution.
9. Employee Non-Solicitation
Clients agree not to solicit or hire any current or former employees or contractors of Clear Creek Cleaning for cleaning services for a period of 12 months following the last service date.
Violation of this clause will result in a $500 placement fee payable to Clear Creek Cleaning.
10. Right to Refuse Service
Clear Creek Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if working conditions are unsafe or if staff are subjected to harassment, threatening behavior, or inappropriate conduct.
11. Weather & Force Majeure
Clear Creek Cleaning reserves the right to reschedule services due to severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other events beyond our control.
Clients will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
12. Privacy
Client information collected during booking or service is used solely for scheduling, communication, and providing services. Clear Creek Cleaning does not sell or share client information with third parties except as required by law.
Clear Creek Cleaning may take before and after photographs or videos of areas within the property for the purpose of:
documenting the condition of surfaces and items before cleaning
verifying completion and quality of services
protecting the company and client in the event of disputes regarding damages or service quality
Photos and videos are used solely for internal documentation, training, quality control, and dispute resolution purposes.
Clear Creek Cleaning will not intentionally photograph personal documents, sensitive personal information, or individuals without permission.
Images taken during service remain the property of Clear Creek Cleaning and may be retained as business records.
Occasionally, non-identifying photos of cleaning results may be used for marketing or promotional purposes (such as social media or the company website). Any images used publicly will avoid displaying personal items, addresses, or identifying information whenever possible.
By scheduling or receiving services from Clear Creek Cleaning, the client acknowledges and consents to reasonable photo documentation of work areas.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to services provided by Clear Creek Cleaning shall be resolved in the courts located within the State of Idaho, and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Agreement to Terms
By scheduling or receiving services from Clear Creek Cleaning, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
